Photo Essay: Cao Bằng market

Vietnamese markets are wonderful–labyrinths of stalls selling dried beans, cloth, dried fish, meat, fruit, clocks, toys, flowers, spices, conical hats, sun cream, vegetables, dog meat and many other goods.  I’m not comfortable photographing my neighborhood market but I was less self-conscious in Cao Bằng.
